PAUDIN Swiss 8" Chef's Knife

A great knife: nicely balanced, good weight, takes and keeps an edge well. My only complaint about it is one that comes simply from user error: I didn't realize the 8 measurement was of the blade alone, and this thing is enormous!For comparison's sake, I positioned it in one of my photos against the other large chef knife that I have from a [German brand] set ---- mind you, it��s one of the bigger ones in that set, and look at how tiny it appears compared to this giant!I have smaller hands and so it probably would have been wiser for me to go with something a little bit smaller in measurement, but this is not the knife's fault��. Seems to be excellent quality.

It was really sharp when I first got it. It passed the test for cutting up my veggies. Easy to clean and use if you're smart enough.
