Nice knife, priced right

I got only the 5 inch utility knife. It is a nice knife, good and sharp. Unlike some other knives I have ordered on Amazon, this is a knife that is well worth having. The handle seems to be real wood, and I believe the metal shank extends into the wood. The finishing at the butt had a small rough spot, but this is very minor. I have been using the knife a lot and would be happy to give one as a gift. The price of $29.00 seems reasonable. Since the knife is quite good, I rather regret not getting the set.update: This is a very practical knife. I use it every day. It works well as a paring knife, but also for some chopping. It has needed sharpening periodically, ie, I don't think it holds its edge as long as I would like, but it is a very good knife.

attractive knife, good value

this is an attractive knife at a good price point for value. I don't always love laser etching but this is tasteful enough. The handle is the star as it is beautiful and has a nice hand feel.

Excellent small chefs knife

I am very particular about my knives and this one worked very well. It is a beautiful full tang Damascus knife. The full tang gives it strength and excellent balance. It has a nice composite wood handle and a pretty Damascus pattern on the blade. But the important thing is that it works well in the kitchen. In this case it is very sharp and has a nice feel when cutting through most things. It is a small and agile knife and was great at cutting the meat out of a cooked chicken. It has been added as one of my go to knives.
